You will remember on New Year's Day this year we had promised to restructure and revamp Northeast Vigil. To start with, we are launching a discussion forum called Northeast Forum.

The purpose of this forum will be to provide a platform/forum for discussions on Northeast-related issues and topics. The discussion will be a moderated one. No, this is not being done with censorship in mind but to filter non-Northeast postings, general spamming like sending of jokes etc, and eliminating hate mail. Select messages posted to this list will be posted on the Northeast Vigil site at regular intervals.

The list address shall be ne-forum@egroups.com - this is the address to which you will have to send your message in order to reach out to all members of the forum. To subscribe, send a blank message to ne-forum-subscribe@egroups.com. To remove yourself from the list, send a blank message to ne-forum-unsubscribe@egroups.com.

The original address, northeastvigil@onelist.com, will remain the official mailing/annoucement list of Northeast Vigil.
